attack versus defense

1. you can attack king from any direction with any piece
2. attack the rooks - diagonally
3. attack the bishops - orthogonally
4. attack the queen - any direction but supported

queen is defended or not doesn't matter much as the opponent can sacrifice any piece to take a queen

1. doing two things at once
2. its not defending and attacking, its also about the piece values of the pieces that are involved in the play
